Here’s a highlight:
While the general tonality of the read isn’t anything new, what Mr. Patterson advocates for specifically is. There has been something of a massive overhaul when it comes to the traditionalist, corporate mindset – particularly with respect to hierarchy and leadership positions. The goal of the one now must be the goal of the many, with an appropriate, calculated blurring of those hierarchal lines so each and every member of the employee base is wholly invested in the goals and milestones of the company collectively. But as Patterson brilliantly demonstrates, a shifting of psychological alliances and priorities is also freeing for you – especially in a hypothetical, ’leader’ position – as well.
